Critical Shield - arcade space survival game, developed for Very Serious JuniperDev Game Jam.

You have a cargo starship which just does its job - brings some cargo from somewhere. The path lies through the quite hostile area - asteroids, anomalies and weird gravity pulses try to hurt the ship. Fortunately, it has old, but good Shield system to protect itself from this hostile area.

GAMEPLAY: brainless-simple, you need just hold the shield of your cargo ship in stable (green) area by SPINNING the mouse coursor around the ship. That is is!
Clockwise (CW) spinning stabilizes shield closer to low-energy area, which has a risk of turning off the shield.
Counterclockwise (CCW) spinning stabilizes shield closer to high-energy area, which has a risk of overheating and even explosion of the shield.
You have a HUD with 5 sectors - like shield itself, it can help you understand where you should spin to stabilize shield.

(additional info about in-game things you can also find on tutorial screen at the beginning of the game)

Really fun concept!

It's really really hard to control...
